Company
Located in Memphis, Tennessee, Airepairs has been providing service to the aviation industry for over 40 years. Over the years, the company has changed ownership several times. Most recently, in 2006, it was aquired by GE as part of their acquisition of The Memphis Group and then subsequently spun off to Aeorframe Services in 2007. With this verticle acquisition, Aeroframe was able to expand its component and back shop capabilities for its Airbus customers and Airepairs was able to broaden its offering in the Airbus component business.
In addition, Airepairs also adopted a performance based pay system. This produced similar results as seen at Aeroframe Services, thus proving that the pay system could be portable and flexible. As a result, significant improvements in performance and turn time were achieved without sacrificing quality.
Since its inception in 1968, few companies have matched in longevity or quality. Its products and services have been provided on virtually every type of aircraft flown in the U.S. whether it is commercial, general aviation or military. The company has built a reputation on repairing and overhauling those hard to find components that other repair shops do not want to deal with. We welcome those challenges as an opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and workmanship.
